Information about MATCH TYPES as played by Golf Ball Maniacs:
the {GBM} Lion Masters.
There will be 24 golfers, and two flights, preset by handicap.
Whichever flight the scorekeeper is in will go out first, and
there will be two separate presentation ceremonies, one for
each flight, so nobody has to wait an hour to find out if they won.
(No split tees until daylight savings time.)
Each flight will pay $35, $15, $10, plus a trophy for the first-
place net winner in each flight. The trophies will be the LION,
for the lower-handicapped flight, and the LAMB, for the higher.
There will be four closest-to-pins worth $24 each, and gold
Sacagaweas for all birds.
Both the LION winner and the LAMB winner will be recorded as
MAJOR WINNERS on the signup page.
Entry fee is $10.
The {GBM} Lion Masters is an INDIVIDUAL NET match.
In INDIVIDUAL NET matches, there are no partners
and usually no Indian girls. The purse is awarded based upon
each golfer's posted score for the round,
minus his GBM handicap.
The 2008 Modification (alternating net-gross) is NOT in effect
for the the {GBM} Lion Masters. Place money is based upon NET SCORES ONLY
in each flight.
