Cardinal Sin and the No-Eye-Deer (Preliminary Info, Subject to Change)
On June 14, 2008, GBM will hold our second MAJOR of the year
at Newport News Golf Club.



In the morning round, 32 golfers will play for the
CARDINAL SIN trophy on the Cardinal course.
Entry fee will be $10. There will be a single
closest-to-pin prize of $50.

The purse will be awarded for LOW NET as follows:

1st Place: $50
2nd Place:  35
3rd Place:  25
4th Place:  15


In the afternoon round, the 8 LOW GROSS golfers from
the morning round will compete in a STRAIGHT GROSS
round vying for the NO-EYE-DEER trophy.



Prizes will be awarded for LOW GROSS as follows:

1st Place: $50
2nd Place: 45
3rd Place   40
4th Place   35
5th Place   30
6th Place   25
7th Place   20
8th Place   15


In INDIVIDUAL NET matches, there are no partners
and usually no Indian girls. The purse is awarded based upon
each golfer's posted score for the round, minus his GBM handicap.
